Event Description Grant Writing in Tough Times: Practical Advice for Entrepreneurs, Nonprofits and Businesses

In this fact-packed, 45-minute session, professional grant writer Jennifer Kierstead will provide an overview of grant writing, outline trends in grant making since the recession, describe sources of funds and how to access them,  reveal who receives funds for what kinds of activities, and advise how to become "grant ready."  Examples of diverse, successful grants will be cited.
