Lifestyle Sports Global, LLC (LSG) will transfer management of all their races to Maine Endurance Sports Alliance (MESA), a Maine nonprofit organization (501(c)3 (status is pending), ensuring the legacy and future success of the races bringing runners from all over the world to Central Maine. Over the past 4 years, LSG has developed 6 races, bringing over 1,200 runners with their family and friends, to Central Maine.
MESA will take the helm with some changes allowing more runners to participate in the events. The transition aims to leverage the new organization’s expertise in expanding community engagement, enhance the experience for runners, volunteers, event expansion and development of new events in Maine.
MESA has a partnership with Husson University’s School of Sports Management, Sports & Tourism Management and will be working with their students on management and development of MESA and new races.
We are incredibly proud of the groundwork done by LSG to develop and promote events in Central Maine. Partnering with MESA ensures these events will continue to thrive and inspire athletes of all levels to reach their full potential and goals as they cross the finish line at one of our events.
